About me

I’m Sam, and I’ve been an industrial designer for over 8 years. I studied industrial design at North Carolina State University, just 20 minutes from where I grew up (gotta love that in-state tuition) and moved to the Bay Area shortly afterwards. Growing up I loved drawing, spending time outside, and building/fixing things (be it one of my 7 siblings bikes, a bamboo raft for the pond, or the family zero-turn lawn mower). This naturally grew into a passion for industrial design and craft, and I feel lucky to continue to pursue these passions today.
